Whilst the thalassotherapy tradition has its origins in Antiquity, enjoying a bath as a form of relaxation has also been popularised by Scandinavian culture. However it was only in the 1950s in the US that the Jacuzzi brothers perfected the ancestor of the massage jet. The formula evolved over time, and the materials too: wood made way for fibreglass and ultimately acrylic. And the spa was born. And from spa to romantic spa was just a short step!

We had reserved our break at the Hotel Les Bulles de Mer in Saint-Cyprien. A really wonderful break. The atmosphere here is really special: familiar, but also a real change of scene. In any case, you feel really relaxed! The date of our wedding anniversary just happened to be during our stay and Lucas planned a really lovely surprise for me by privatising the Sand Spa to transform it into a romantic spa. We had such a wonderful evening and the meal was particularly delicious. We felt like we were completely alone. Fantastic!
